Domestic Machine - The Care and Feeding

In this class you will work with your domestic machine, HQ Stitch machines will be used for demonstration purposes.
Since this class is designed to help you learn the care and feeding of your sewing machine. We will cover tension, cleaning, uses of your different stitches other than straight stitch as in piecing.
We will also talk and show how you can finish those treasured hand pieced quilt blocks into a quilt top that you would later quilt. After all, those treasures many times are attached to wonderful memories!
You will need:
Your sewing machine in working order, power cord foot control. Also, your accessory kit and owner's manual.
Thread, fabric scraps, scissors, pencil and paper. I will have a printed handout for each student.
Bring any prepared blocks to class for suggestions.
